New jersey, Detroit, where will the shortage end, and how can we be dishing out so much for Iraq when we are suffering so close to home? How can we be taking care of foreign governments before our own? Its time we elect new congressmen and new Senators and we need to make sure the ones we elect actually represent the average American citizen and not big business or outside the country corporations. How can we be closing civil servant jobs and civil service offices while at the same time sending millions and billions abroad, it just does not make sense.
The state of New Jersey may have to shut down casino’s Wednesday night because it cannot balance its budget. This closure will hurt the state by costing it millions a day, how can our elected officials allow this to occur? They need to dedicate the needed funds to the proper areas so that the programs needed to run the casino’s are financed and that the state does not get hurt more than it already is. Wee also need to dedicate ourselves more to our own domestic problems rather than voting and financing all of these foreign projects.
American politicians need to be reminded that it is the American taxpayer he\she works for, not global corporations, or foreign governments. These two afore mentioned entities deserve consideration but it is you and me, the average American citizen, who should have their needs addressed first and foremost. I think our politicians need to refocus on what’s important a little more and look at the needs of domestic America.
