President Bush vowed to enact “comprehensive” immigration reform that will help secure our country, mainly its borders. The Bush Administration had planned to deploy up to 2,500 National Guard troops to our nations border by the end of June. But where are the troops?

If the Bush Administration is having a hard time mustering up ~1,000 National Guardsmen now, how in the world do they plan on providing the 6,000 additional troops President Bush promised in his Immigration Reform address?

Do you think the Bush Administration will be able to pull it off? So far it doesn’t look likely.
