Brokeback Bush Needs Focus On Domestic America

American cities are bankrupting daily by the dozens, educational programs in America are being decimated, predatory business practices like outsourcing, and gas gouging, are flourishing, but do not despair America, our backs may be broken but our Brokeback policy making President is still ever vigilant when it comes to not letting the fiction become fact in regards to gay and lesbian relationships. The President is very focused, and determined, to make sure his policy on gay and lesbian rights is loud and strong. I am not bashing the President for his views one way or the other; I just wish he focused more on the true state of the American economy as well as the American children. We are losing jobs by the tons to greedy outsourcing companies and our childrens’ future of brightness is growing bleaker by the day. Who will save America’s future? Where is the President who was going to make us great once again?

President Bush has renewed his call for a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, he is adamant that this policy should be supported and become legislature. He worked hard to reassure the Republican conservative base that he is still on target for them in regards to the gay and lesbian issue. You would think that illegal immigration and outsourcing are bigger concerns but for Bush and his supporters, outsourcing and illegal labor are just tools to increase their profits, they do not see how these issues are draining the life of middle class, and lower class, America. Most Republican supporters are pretty well established in life and they are concerned more with their own little corner of America, they do not really care about the have nots.

President Bush urged Congress to approve the Marriage Protection Amendment, but most believe ev3en if it gets out of the house it will never see the light of day. Most Democrats say that President Bush is just pandering for Republican votes and not addressing the real issues facing America such as the illegal immigration issue, the rising cost of oil gouging, or the fatal effects of outsourcing.

President Bush spoke out and reiterated that he feels that same-sex marriage is a matter requiring a national solution. He has not done much to keep American workers working in America but rest assured he will do all he can to keep the gays apart.

I am not speaking out in support or denial of the Presidents Gay marriage policy, what I want is more focus on more urgent problems. As Bush bashes the gays he is letting the rest of America fall into oblivion. Where is the President who was going to make us great once again?
