If Venezuela is producing way more oil than was expected, and world consumption is lower than anticpated, regardless ofthe hype you hear in the media, then why is the price of gas so high? The price of oil dropped almost five dollars last week and the price atthe pump barely dropped. Conversely the price rose two dollars and the price atthe pumps jumped fifteen cents, what gives?
Why are’nt our politicans doing more to dig deep and find out exactly who is gouging the American public? We demand answers to these questions, not excuses. When oil prices drop the gas stations do nothing, when they go up so do the pump prices, something has to give here.
Thousands of us watch as two gas stations kitty corner from each other jockey their prices up and down by nickels and dimes to beat out their competitor, how can this be if both say their prices are set by regional managers and the miniscule profit margin is built in. I just don’t buy it anymore.
More oil is available yet prices are still high, where are the politicians and what are they doing?
