Immigrants Push For Illegal Immigration Concerns

The Day without immigrants was really a day that was, well just ordinary. There were marches throughout the country, and yes there were some that were large but the majority of the targeted cities saw little action and the day without immigrants really had little impact.

However, for the children that were held out of school for this idiotic protest there will be the fact they missed a days worth of schooling and that can only be troublesome to a child struggling with today’s education process. The immigration issue should be dealt with but not by a government being bullied by illegals and I am glad to see that America still has the resolve to stand up against ethnic intimidation and do the right thing.

I have numerous friends whose family came here as immigrants and they followed the rules and attained legal citizenship, these are the immigrants I respect and admire. I do not admire those who come to the country illegally and undercut our way of life by taking labor jobs for half the price. We have established a way of life here in America and we cannot allow it to erode because of some attempted ethnic intimidation.

  1. You must be from Montana or someplace where immigrants are a tiny percentage of the population. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants and their supporters marched in cities acros the country and many business owners reported that their businesses were effectively shut down.

Also worth noting is that many employers gave their emloyees the day off b/c they realize how important the immigrant work force is to their business. For example, one meatpacking company gave 15,000 employees the day off.
