Even The Sudan Rejects Osama Bin Laden

Bin Laden has been hiding while we have been looking, now we find out he has been taping while we have been warring. Does anyone really care what this man has to say anymore and how relevant is it really what he has been doing? He suckered punch the world then ran and hid away like a punk, he is more a threat to steal your herd than he is to ever launch another terrorist attack. So why is it a big event when he releases a tape?

I am not sure anymore. I guess a part of the world wants to see the man brought to justice, Wild West style and this is the reason for any interest. However, the majority of the world believes this is a marginalized man just trying to get his 15 minutes of fame back and they want nothing more than for this man to just go away. And don’t associate this man with Egypt, many in the region say this will be done but realistically Bin Laden had nothing to do with the Egyptian bombings.

It has been reported that a newly broadcast audiotape believed to be from Osama Bin Laden was released. The tape reportedly slams the West for cutting off funds to the Palestinian Hamas-led government. The tape also reportedly fires out another call to arms for all al Qaeda followers, Osama is now asking them to fight a proposed international force in Sudan. This guy has made repeated calls, and statements, of how the world will be turned upside down by his followers but as of this time I think he inspires as much attention as a rerun of a tired reality television show. Matter of fact most would rather watch a 30 minute spring break television bikini bop show than listen to this tired rhetoric.

The intelligence community believes the tape is authentic but so what. If this tape was a baseball card it would go immediately to the common bin. This mans value, and interest, has fallen faster than a steroid hitting home run machine who has been found out to be a phony.

On the tape, bin Laden states “the opposition to the Hamas government is proof of the crusade against Muslims.” He seems to be trying to link his cause to any faction he can gain sympathy from but most Muslim leaders are avoiding this man like the plague. He has no support from any of the growing movements and many say he does not really wield any influence in the area any longer. In response to the statements released on the tape by Bin Laden, a Hamas spokesman Sam Abu Zuhri stated, “Hamas has a different ideology than that of al Qaeda.”

Is Bin Laden a man living in the past, does he really not recognized that his 15 minutes of fame are over and all we really want is for his capture, or his killing, we really don’t want to hear his rhetoric.
