China and Bush, Who Is Really Creating Jobs?
Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong has stated that China has created over 10 million jobs in the past five years. President Bush talks about job creation but he is still working in an actual job deficit. What is China doing so right that the rest of the world is doing so wrongly? How can Europe be at almost 10% unemployed while China is creating jobs faster than America and Europe can outsource them?
Another scary issue this brings up is that those who lead dictate policy and China is quickly rising to national prominence. Imagine in a few years when China starts telling Jews, Muslims, and Christians, that they cannot openly practice religions just like they cannot in China. Don’t think it will happen? Ask any Tibetan you meet, or Taiwanese, they will tell you honestly. China is a growing economic monster but its their world policy we must really fear.
Everyone around the world saw the heckling of Chinese President Hu Jintao, everyone but the Chinese. If you lived in mainland China you never heard hide nor hair of the issue because it was blocked by Chinese officials. See in China you can only see, or hear, what is allowed by the Chinese government. You also are not allowed to speak out against the government, or in favor of religion. This will get you marked as a trouble causer and most likely you will get arrested. You must also remember that your internet access is monitored and anyone trying to get to certain areas frequently will be questioned by the government and may even be arrested for thinking to liberally.
Chinese in general are nice honest good people. However, their governments’ public policies are not so nice or amiable. Its do as they say and not as you want to do. China rules the business world with an iron hand but they govern their citizens with an adamantium fist. You can choose to dismiss this concern if you want but their influence is growing and it is only a matter of time before you begin to feel it. Just like America is pushing freedom and democracy you have another country pushing back. It will be an interesting give and take match for quite a few years.

the average chinese would be incensed by the deliberate slight or utter incompetence, denpending on your view, of the Bush White House. Whatever goodwilll the chinese people had for Amercia will be destroyed.
there might be even protest and, gosh, riots! and you will see KFC, McDonalds and Starbucks’s windows shattered if they are lucky, or worse, burnt!

The commie party is bending backward to maintain a friendly relationship with the US, because it’s in China AND US’s interests. They are at times very high handed, but many times, the intention is not as evil as you thought it would be.
