Can anyone answer to me why Iran is enriching uranium before they even have an actual nuclear power plant on line? Shouldn’t this be enough of a red flag to understand that they have no civilian thoughts whatsoever on their nuclear minds? The U.N.’s nuclear watchdog is holding crisis talks in Iran but as far as any real gains being in the future, it does not look good.
Tehran is refusing to back down on their program of developing a large-scale uranium enrichment program, they stick to their guns by spouting the rhetoric that its their God given right. But aren’t these the same individuals who also behead and kidnap in the name of God as well? Regardless of the perception of their ambitions, which have sparked international criticism, Iran is striving forward. Will we have to wait until they actually threaten to nuke someone before we get a grip on them? They are like a retired race horse barnstorming to the stable, they have seen the opening and they are driving home vigorously.
Mohamed ElBaradei of the International Atomic Energy Agency has met with senior Iranian representatives; he reportedly demanded a suspension of Iran’s nuclear program. The government of Iran listened but apparently did not hear. Mohamed ElBaradei can speak all he wants but this regime is hell-bent on developing nuclear weapons and it is apparent to anyone who does not let greed blindside their view of reality. I cannot believe certain countries around the world would rather take a wait and see approach, so as to protect their oil supply, than address the growing issue that will soon threaten them as well. Talk about the ‘I’m thinking only of myself generation’, and these are adults making these decisions not the youth of the world, which is who usually gets accused of thinking selfishly.
Mohamed ElBaradei has stated he will discuss how he can assist to bringing Iran in line with the request of the international community. However, Iran’s President countered by stating that his country would be increasing its uranium enrichment, he went on to further insist that the Iranian nuclear program was for peaceful purposes. He stated, “The answer to the conflict is now within the camp of the enemies of the Iranian people, and we have no conflict because the Iranian people are strong and unified.”
We have heard this type of rhetoric before. Sadaam said we would die in a sea of blood as well as be swept up in an Iraqi hurricane of power. He also said the Iraqi people were unified, we now know this statement to be astoundingly incorrect and as far as the sea of blood, or hurricane of power, its become more like a paint watching competition that never appears to end.
Bush Needs Quick End To Iran Issue
How come Iran does not have a right to manufacture nuclear weapons while the terrorist regime Israel, India & Pakistan are allowed to ? Note : it is Israel that has invaded all of its neighbours and is in fact occuppied Palestine.
Iran hasn’t beheaded anyone, and FYI it was the US that supported nun-raping death squads in Central America and also supported Saddam with chemical weapons - so why should anyone trust nukes in the hands of Bush?
Iran has not yet started industrial scale enrichment, only research level enrichment. The bigger question is if Iran is seeking to build nukes, then why 1- has no evidence been discovered by the IAEA after three years of intensive inspections and 2- why is Iran making a very generous offer of compromise that the US media isn’t even reporting?
