The politicians are at it again and while they are focused on doing nothing in regards to the illegal immigration issue Gas companies are putting it to Americans throughout the country. Its bad enough we have illegals sneaking into the country like a water drop in a waterfall but now we have the Gas companies sneaking in Gas hikes without any good reasoning. Two of the hottest issues in America appear to be problems that no one has the gumption to stand up and address.
Rather than fix the illegal immigration issue we appear to just say lets make some slight changes and just let the illegals in. In regards to Gas prices, all you hear is that there is demand in America and what can you do. Do you know anyone who is driving more at these prices? And how big will oil profits be this year? God forbid a tropical storm or hurricane hits, the buzzards will really pick our carcasses then. So what is our leadership in Washington doing to address these two hot issues? Apparently nothing, and to steal on age old adage for this years election, “We need to throw the bums out.”
Republicans in both the House and Senate don’t want to support language in an immigration bill that would make entering the country illegally a felony. They also work very hard at ignoring the growing energy concerns in their own states. Is that what we pay these bozos to do? Avoid the issues. We deserve better than this.
The most recent immigration proposal has drawn the ire of pro-immigrant groups that have staged numerous protests in recent weeks. They see that our politicians are pandering for votes and not really addressing the issues like it deserves. Their marches are a symbol of voter intimidation not freedom of expression. Do any politicians have the guts to stand up for what’s right and not just what is popular? This is not American Idol you know, they have been elected to perform a service so why aren’t they doping it? Why am I paying almost a dollar more a gallon this year and for no real reason? Why must I also hear all the debate about illegals? Shouldn’t the argument end at ,”How did you sneak into the country?”
I believe we, as Americans, deserve an immediate response to why our Gas prices are not being addressed; we also deserve to have this illegal immigration issue settled. What is going on here?
