Only An Idiot Can Argue For Illegal Immigration

Protest, kick and scream, call me shortsighted, I believe I am right and I side with the against side of the illegal immigration debate.. You can try all you want but the argument with immigration ends the minute you put illegal in front of it. I cannot think of any illegal action that is o.k. because it’s practiced by millions, if that’s the case then there are millions of American citizens who want their ‘driving while impaired sentences’ reduced and removed from their licenses.

You can try and tell me its o.k. because these illegals’ have been in the country for so long that it is something they deserve. I must counter with the known information that ‘most who got caught drunk driving have been driving for years probably much more drunk than when they got caught’, does this make it right? Is the amount of time you commit the standard for what makes something illegal legal? If that’s the case then why are we trying Sadaam Husein for something he did so long ago? Please tell me what platform the ‘for’ argument stands on and I will try to understand. I have no problem with immigration; it’s the illegal immigration that bothers me, as well as most other Americans.

I am a law abiding citizen, I expect those around me to abide by the law. I do not believe that the government wants individuals to pick and choose which laws are actually laws and which they will disobey so I must state that in regards to immigration this ideal must also apply. If illegal immigration is o.k. then what is wrong with illegal gambling, and illegal pot smoking, and illegal drinking and driving? Laws are not meant to be arbitrarily decided by each individual, they are laws written as irrefutable standards for lawful and unlawful acts. There are not ‘kind of’ laws, or ‘maybe’ laws, there are laws and there are rights, they are inalienable, which means they cannot be infringed upon or changed.

The laws we live by are the same, they are similar for all men and woman in America, we can’t just change them when we want to win over a few Hispanic voters. If it is o.k. to disrespect the laws of immigration then we will begin to disrespect other laws that we don’t really care that much for. Imagine having the ability to arbitrarily zoom through red lights; drink more than the legal limit, not pay taxes, wouldn’t this be grand? No it would be chaos and I can’t believe any level-headed individual would want this..

If it is illegal it is wrong, there can be no argument on this issue, unless you know of some ‘kinda’ laws. I, as well as most Americans, only know the laws, not ‘kinda’ laws. We live by them and we respect them. We must not bend to the threat of politicians just so that one political party is seen as more immigrant friendly than the other. This is snake-oil salesman type tactics and I think the individuals pandering to a unique culture at the risk of all of our safety, and lifestyles, is disgusting. These individuals should be called out as they are, traitorous and notorious. To think they would jeopardize American security for this policy is so mind-boggling I can’t even get a grip on it. .

I heard John McCain say it, as well as the President and I wish they both would quit saying there are jobs Americans won’t do. There are jobs they won’t do for what many rich individuals want to pay them, but is the exploitation of immigrants really o.k. because we let them in to take these jobs? Look how fast we went from crucifying Cathie Lee to wanting the same type of slave labor for ourselves. Maybe we need to take a look at ourselves, and our neighbors, what have we become? Are we really willing to jeopardize our future for some cheap grass-cutters?

As it turns out Illegal Aliens add quite a few extra seats in Congress to the Party which controls the districts in which they reside. So they are not quite idiots.

Giving amnesty to illegals is an even better gift than Iraq that Bush can give Bin Laden. Thanks.
