What Is The Bush Plan To Win In Iraq

What type of strategy is it to take the fiercest fighting army soldier in the world and turn him into a sitting duck? Is this our strategy? Take our great mobile fighting force and turn them into night watchmen? No offense to the night watchmen, they do a good job as well. However, we are talking about the most technological, and well trained, fiercest fighting force in the world and we have them standing around like they are protecting a Secretary of State office.

I think its time the Iraqis handle heir business and let our soldiers get on to doing what they do best, moving and kicking tail on the way, this police force\night watchman stuff is not what they are designed to be. I want a better strategy than this. We are castrating our own army’s ability and no one is making any changes.

More attacks in Baghdad, then more attacks, and today most likely more attacks, and tomorrow more of the same. How can this be reported so frequently yet nothing is really being done to change the situation? Yes we are fighting the good fight in Iraq but isn’t it time we bring this policy to a close?

Is the holding back of a timetable by President Bush really just a smoke screen for the fact that we really have no game plan to actually complete the war and exit out of Iraq with everything in tact? Is this mess going to carry on so that it gets dumped on the next President?

I hope whoever the next President is does the same thing that Nixon did, bring our troops home from a conflict entered into without proper planning and preparedness. Our soldiers are doing the best they can wit the game plan provided but it’s the fourth quarter now and it appears the coaches have stopped calling the plays. How can we be this deep into the game with no plan to close out the final quarter?

I hear of deaths of Americans in Iraq and each time I feel bad for them as well as their families. I believe in the cause but I have numerous worries about who is actually running the war nowadays and what plan they are trying to execute.

  1. I sometimes read through the posts of blogs that deal with what other writers say about Iraq and it’s future. Sometimes I am inspired by argumentation and content which is truly enlightened and forceful. At times I feel the evidence and insight is without justification, in my opinion, but defends points and summarizes things that need to be bought forward.
But unfortunatly, i sometimes I am appalled by the general ignorance that creeps into writer’s expositions of their views of the War.
The writer of this blog easily falls into the third-catagory.
He obviously is living in a bubble.

Some facts: A military performs in service to a cause, only when that cause is believed by the people who are fighting.
When more than 70% feel that they should be home, hugging their wives and children, with two strong arms and legs, instead of fighting a propaganda lie
to support oil barons and public relation and security experts.
When we have a body of works of e-mails received by the late much-dedicated
and war honored David Hackwoood, indicating that the majority of the troops who voluntarily wrote to him of their desires to “end this meaningless and deadly conflict”, as soon as the powers that be could get them out of there.
Fact 2: America had zero justifaction in attacking and invading Iraq.
No person in his right mind has ever offered a real world justification.

Fact 3: The 98% of the insurgency are fighting a guerilla war against
this invasion and expropriation of land, resources, and freedom.
The majority of the population supports this insurgency.
In the history of warfare no military has even come close to defeating this type of guerilla war.
Fact 3: President Nixon, when he was running for office used Henry Kissinger to squelch a peace plan that would of ended the Vietnam war in late 1968.
He then went ahead, after he was in office, leading the most despicable campaign of bombing and genocide since World War II. More than 2 million South Asian civilians were slaughtered.
In that same time more than 85% of U.S. military deaths were recorded.
Nixon was at home. seating in his office, drunk as a skunk while talking to the pictures on the wall, when the Vietnamese finally ended it’s hundred year
    struggle for self-determination.

fact 4: We must leave Iraq as soon as possible to save the lives of the people who you feel bad for.
My blog: sevenpointman shows a plan that will get us out.

We only need to implement it.

Victory will never happen on the battlefield in Iraq-victory will only happen when we admit our mistakes and try to rectify them with mature actions dedicated to peace and reconciliation.

  2. I respectly disagree with your opinion Howard but I did make it to your site to review your work. I believe that the sodliers are dedicated to their job but its the plan of what they are to do that I have problems with. Are our soldiers supposed to be guarding Iraqi barber shops, and fruit markets, or should htey be fighting the war and then heading home to their own family? If more politicans had to be away in this foreign land you could bet your behind we would have a plan developed to end this war. I appreciate your opinion but I respectfully disagree. It is the great discussion about the issue that makes progress, it’s noth wheher you are right, or I am right, its that we all work towards making America great again, and whole again. We need the 120000 missing pieves back home, soon.
