Bush Supports Communist China Port Deal,What Is Going On Here?

Why is the bush Administration so bent on outsourcing our cargo inspection when they tell us to our face that they are only concerned with American security? Can’t American companies, and American citizens, protect America’s interests? Why must we constantly be looking to outsource our own security? I just don’t understand. Now there is word we have outsourced an important cargo port to a Chinese company, and there are rumors the Bush Administration is willing to give more. What is going on here? Is America really going to turn its security over to a Communist government?

The vital ports in the Bahamas are going to be equipped, and maintained, by a company based out of Hong Kong, why aren’t Americans doing this job? You have to ask the President about that because I have no answers. There will be no U.S. customs agents on site to supervise the inspecting machine‘s uses or any trained nuclear inspectors to scan the cargo. The American shoreline will be less that 70 miles from this key destination and we will have no say in our protection. Now I know Bush will counter with the ewe have to trust rhetoric? However, I do not see any other countries giving up this task, why are we the only ones giving up all the jobs, let alone our own security. What is going on here? Is this an American Administration or a puppet regime for outsourcing?

The Bush recently assured Congress that foreigners would not manage security at U.S. ports but the deal in the Bahamas is in direct conflict to this statement. How can Americans accept this? Are we really going to have American security provided by a communist government?

  1. Hiring a Hong Kong conglomerate to help detect nuclear materials inside cargo passing through the Bahamas to the United States and elsewhere is not my idea of Homeland Security. Did President Bush not get the message from the Dubai Ports deal!

I think the thing we need to look at is the President’s Administration has issued a no-bid contract that is currently being finalized.

  2. There is still a difference between Hong Kong and China and there is certainly a difference between the typical HK company and China company. This will be plenty interesting, however, to see how this all plays out.
