Hey, lets outsource more work to the countries that execute you for your religious beliefs, that makes alot of sense doesn’t it? Afghani courts, and government, are looking for ways out of their political nightmare. However, the smoke screen of letting Abdul Rahman off from the charges by declaring him insane will not alleviate the issue for me. The problem is not just with Abdul Rahman, the problem is with the policy. How can any modern governments do business with any country that has such an oppressive law in place?
How can any country tolerate such discrimination in these modern times? Bull-S, this cannot end by just naming an innocent man insane, which by the way is almost as heinous as the ridiculous charges this man faces. Where is the international outcry, why aren’t governments putting pressure on these types of countries to change their laws, this is ridiculous.
Is this what we can expect when we help empower these types of cultures? I can send them my tax dollars but I cannot practice my religion? Is that the deal? I’m o.k. to cough up the dough for financial aid but when my back is turned I am an infidel who must be executed, is that it? How can any country justify killing someone for their beliefs? Our faith is only in our minds; can we really be executed for our thoughts? Is this how bad it has gotten?
I want more answers than I am receiving and I also want to see much more public outcries. This needs to change and it needs to change now. Do something.
