Bush : Federal Deficit Increase Approved by Senate

Our politicians appear to have no sense, and literally no cents, what is going on here? Is our domestic intelligence worse than the Bush pre-war intelligence? Hard to believe but it is appearing so. Who is running this country and what the heck are they doing? How can we be bankrupt at home yet have the House approve another 91$ billion for Iraq? Why not spend that money here?

What’s the problem, why should we raise our national debt while supplying another 91 billion for the worst planned war in history? We appear to have had a better plan for war five minutes before Pearl Harbor than we do now, at least we had leadership at Pearl Harbor, much more than we see during this Big-Top Bozo-Fest of a war in Iraq.

I must also pass on my congratulations to the Senate who Thursday had the dubious distinction of voting to allow the national debt to swell to nearly $9 trillion dollars, the vote was the only way of preventing a first-ever default on U.S. Treasury notes. It is now estimated that every man, woman, and child, in America now owes the federal government a total of 30,000$ just to get to the break even point. How can we have gone from a surplus to the largest deficit in the history of the world? Is this the legacy President George Bush wants to leave behind? This is an occurrence that should never have happened. I not only hold the President responsible but I hold almost every member of Congress, and the senate. None of the individuals who could stop this madness have stepped up and did it so they all deserve to be voted out in the next election. I guess at this point their political affiliation really does not matter, Dem, Rep, or Indie, you all deserve the heave-hoe come next election, and if I recognize any of your names on my ballot you can be assured I will vote for the other guy.

The Senate passed the bill by a 52-48 vote. The bill now goes to President Bush for his signature, which is about as close to a guarantee as you can get. Our health care is going through the roof, the oil companies are back-dooring us at every fill-up, and every nation in the world is preying on our economy, where is our responsibility to ourselves. I can’t just blame the politicians, we elected this current big-top of Bozo’s, so it is up to us to change things and get us back to the American way of life.

When is the last time we talked of the bright future, the good prospects of employment, or even the certainty we could celebrate a holiday without having to worry about war, or terrorism? When is the last time you heard about India, or China, and did not think for a second about your job security? We have lost control of our lives and its hight time we take it back.

As if this is not bad enough the House was expected to approve another $91 billion to fund the war in Iraq, how can we b defaulting at home while dumping billions into Iraq? Where is the intelligence here? Is our domestic intelligence really as bad as Bushs’ pre-war intelligence? Isn’t there any intelligence left here in America?

The debt limit will increase by $781 billion which will actually increase the debt limit by a total of $3 trillion dollars since President Bush took office five years ago.
