Are Oil Companies Putting It To Us?
If oil prices are dropping then why in the 4$!! Am I paying more and more at the gas pumps the last week? The economy is supposedly buzzing right along, the winter was milder than expected, and America is once again getting to be a healthier nation. Now can someone please tell me why I am paying over $2.50 a gallon of gas?
And why is my healthcare expenses doubling and tripling every 6 months? I think we should demand Congress look into these issues a lot more in depth than they have. The oil companies made a record profit and this year they are on pace to shatter that, so what is going on? Why is our cost of living expense skyrocketing while our pay raises are flattening? How can our cost to live exceed our ability to earn? Pretty soon we won’t even afford to just be, we will owe our lives just fro breathing if we are not careful. Well maybe it won’t get that bad but things sure seem screwy right now.
If you are paying 2.50 a gallon for gas now, imagine what you will get hit with come Memorial Day. Why doesn’t the President quit jet-setting around the world and instead investigate why Americans get so gouged by the oil industry and the insurance companies? Americans are fed up with hearing how good things are going around the world; we would like to hear how things are getting a little better right here in the U S of A. Where is the President right now? Why isn’t he speaking out against the oil companies, and gas refineries? He sticks up for everyone else on the planet why doesn’t he do something for his loyal taxpayers?
I suggest we Americans quit just throwing our hands up and doing nothing, we have been taking it in the rear for so long we now just drop our drawers whenever we get cow-pies thrown our way. It’s time we take back our integrity and tell the insurance companies, as well as the oil companies, we are mad as heck and we aren’t going to lay here and take it any longer.
