Bush Suffers From , Dubai, China, India, Islam, Iran, Ports, and Katrina

Bush has weathered many storms recently, he has the Dubai Ports World Deal, The Mohammad Cartoon issue, the China issue, the Credit Debt Issue, the nuclear deal with India, the nuclear disagreement with Iran, the H5N1 scare, Hurricane Katrina, the Dick Cheney shooting, the warring factions of Islam, and the War in Iraq. Add all this up and you can see why President Bush’ approval rating is reaching Nixon-like proportions. Waht can President Bush do to save his Presidency from failure?

The President is being battered on all fronts in the past week. It has gotten so bad for him that staunch Republican supporters in the House, and Senate, are now trying to distance themselves from any association with the President. It is becoming a unique situation; the President is becoming a pariah to his own party. This can only mean one thing, Karl Rove will reemerge in the background to help bring Bush back to public acceptance, or something very close to public acceptance.

The Dubai Ports World deal may have been the nail that slammed the door shut on this Presidency having any chance at success. Staunch Republicans bucked President Bush and his policy in order to support what the majority of the public wanted, this has not happened to Bush prior to this year. There are other issues now being bandied about that are causing similar disruptions, and disagreements, in the Republican party.

Republican advisors are frantically contacting Republican politicians advising them that their open, and public, disagreement with President Bush is hurting the party. However, these politicians are now saying that Bush is hurting their party. Either way you look at it the President and his approval ratings are taking a heavy hit, what can Bush do to pull out of this spiraling slump?
