South Dakota Attacks Abortion Laws

What many have feared when President bush nominated his choices for the Supreme Court is now happening, the Roe .vs. Wade debate is heating up, and many conservative states are licking their chops at the chance to challenge the Supreme Court ruling and overturn the decision as it effects their states laws on abortion.

This topic is such a heated debate that it is almost impossible to get reasonable discussion on the issue. However, the conservatives are not afraid to speak their peace whether you agree with them or not, and they are the ones trying to enact sweeping changes.

The Pro-choicers are slowly rallying to the cause but with states like South Dakota already jumping on the chance to change their laws, the Pro-choicers will have their work cut out for them. Personally I feel the decision is between a person and their beliefs. Regardless of whether you are religious or not I believe you can only assist these individuals with support and encouragement, you cannot force them into a certain form of action. God himself gave us the gift of free will, yet many want to take it from us at any opportunity.

The decision of Pro-choice may not be the most popular decision but it is a humans right to make up their own minds on their actions, we cannot dictate to them how to live their life, we an only pray they make the best decisions.
