High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP) scams are taking millions of dollars from hard working Americans everyday and there is not being much done to protect you. The real scary thing is that with the internet now becoming very popular with the elderly, HYIP scams are presented to these individuals frequently. The HYIP advertisements are connections to sites and other links that take curious indviduals to web sites that offer them the chance to make millions.

Many feel this is their best chance at leaving something behind for their children, and grandchildren. However, in the end, they lose everything. Do you feel congress should get involved? Many do.

The real terrible part of the HYIP scam is when the individuals behind the scams actually make vocal contact with their potential victims. These HYIP salesmen are really snake oil salesman in disguise and they have perfected their quick-talk scams to perfection. Many elderly call up numbers provided and they talk to HYIP salesmen, many of which sit around in a boiler room environment. These individuals use quick talk, and double talk, to swindle agreements promising to produce high yield returns for the HYIP scammed victims.

Be aware of these scams, educate yourself. There are many high yield funds that do produce authentic returns. However, there are also many high yield return promises that are really just fools gold in disguise. The fact that the majority of these HYIP scams are concluded over the phone makes it a federally prosecutable crime in most states. Therefore I urge you to be aware and protect yourself. Do not let your future be stolen from you by an HYIP scam artist. Learn all you can and educate those you know, it will help everyone in the end.
