Islam : Abu Ghraib Adds Fuel To The Mohammad Cartoon Fire

The Mohammad cartoons, along with the Abu Ghraib photos, look to make this another long weekend for any symbol of westernized culture in the Middle east. It was not bad enough these racist individuals have committed numerous atrocities for no apparent reason; they now have the British beat down, and the new Abu Ghraib pictures, to rally about. Talk about adding fuel to the Islam fire.

It’s bad enough that many radical Muslims have been committing atrocious crimes for no apparent reason, now they have two more rallying cries they can use to cheer on more violent demonstrators. We have to make sure we do not provide these idiots with additional reasons to display their racism and hatred. We must also not stoop to their levels in regards to tactics and behavior.

If we give in to their tactics and behave in manners such as the British troops beat down, or the Abu Ghraib harassment, we are giving Islamic terrorist the victory they so seek to enjoy. If we behave like them we are no better than them and that is how we will lose the war to them.

The terrorist enjoys creating chaos as much as he enjoys relaxation. If our societies commit heinous crimes in response to terrorist actions we are losing the battle because we will be caught in confusion and chaos. We must strive to resist the temptation of senseless violence we see in regards to the Mohammad cartoons.

I know at times it is tough, some times you want to just double up your fist and bust a few guts. However, you must resist this temptation and maintain your integrity that is how we will win the war on terrorism.
