Mohammed Cartoon Compared To Jill Carroll Ordeal, No Comparison
It is o.k. to broadcast the picture of a beautiful innocent religious woman begging for her life in performance for captors who know they will kill her eventually; but don’t dare post a cartoon image of a prophet, is this the logic I am supposed to swallow? How can these racist protestors say it is blaspheme to print these Mohammed cartoons yet it is condoned to kill an innocent religious woman, and then they talk about religious tolerance, give me a break.
How dare these individuals set a timeline for this young ladies death, who gave them the right to play the angel of death to this religious woman, who gave them the right? Where is the outrage for this action? It appears to me death is the only thing in the world we can’t take back, you cannot bring back a life that is gone, you can print retractions, and apologies, so I again ask, how can there be such a double standard? Which offense is more permanent?
The sight of Jill Carroll breaks my heart, and to think, this lady believes in the same God her captors do, she believes in Abraham just like they do, Adam and Eve just like they do. How can they call themselves religious and then destroy one of Gods most beautiful creations? I just don’t understand it. I also ask, how can moderate Muslims tolerate such behavior? Any religion that allows the kidnapping and killing of innocents cannot be a religion based on a Supreme Omnipotent Being. There are good Muslims in the world, these types just aren’t some of them.
The captors of Jill Carroll most likely only have this woman beg to satisfy some sickening desire of their own, they know their demands will not be met yet they carry on this disgusting dance of dialect. I also cannot condone any of the violence in supposed retaliation for the Mohammed cartoons, the crimes committed just aren’t justified by the offense. If Mohammed is as prophetic as he appears to be in Islam, I am sure he is above being concerned with these unimportant cartoons. Therefore I ask, why are these radical racist Muslims so concerned, is it because it gives them justification to commit hate crimes they have wanted to all along?

You are right, there is no comparison. I only hope Islamic terrorist continue to draw attention to themselves for what they are. Today I read there have been at least 1442 deadly Islamic terrorist attacks since 9/11. When are we going to realize that no matter how hard they play the peaceful religion card, their actions illustrate the opposite? I am sure their are those who are Islamic who are totally peaceful, but the militants are quickly destroying that image.
