Before you bash Denmark, I think you need to take another look at Danish culture, they are one of the most open, and free, societies in the world. So tell me, who is the one that really that should be boycotted, the country who displays the utmost of freedom, or the culture that refers to anyone not of their beliefs as infidels whose lives are at best expendable?

Denmark was hoping to nail down an Olympic bid, and resolve its employment problems; instead it finds itself at the spearhead of a worldwide controversy spinning out of control.
Denmark is normally a country known for its tolerance. However, recently it has drawn the ire of the Muslim world because of some outlandish cartoons printed that poke fun at the prophet Mohammad. Where the jokes in bad taste? Most likely the answer is yes. Should the country of Denmark be punished for the publications made by a journalistic paper? In no way whatsoever.
I despise intimidation of any form, be it civil, religious, racial, or even size, related. However, what Muslims are doing in relation to the Mohammad cartoons is turning into just that, intimidation. And Denmark is standing in strong defiance of the threat of their intimidation.
Was the cartoon offensive? I would say yes in regards to most religious individuals of Islamic faith. However, the offending punishment does not fit the offending crime, and let me remind these individuals, contrary to what they are doing; the printing of these cartoons is not an actual crime in most countries.
Muslims in Denmark are actually not that offended by the pictures, they are disturbed but not really to the point of violence. However, a few Imams supporting radicalism, and fundamentalism, have whipped up Muslims around the world, many Muslims know very little about the cartoons, they just join in the anti-western hate mongering.
If anyone takes the chance to research, and find out, about Danish culture they would see that protesting this country is not really the way to go. Denmark espouses freedoms and tolerances on a standard with the greatest countries in the world, unlike the Islamic protestors who show no tolerance of any sort.
I’ll ask you again, who is the one that really that should be boycotted, the country who displays the utmost of freedom, or the culture that refers to anyone not of their beliefs as infidels whose lives are at best expendable?
