Islam: Iran Creates Holocaust Cartoon Contest
Just when you thought Iran could not get any more callous, or irresponsible, there is now news that they are sponsoring a holocaust cartoon contest. However, since Iran believes the holocaust never happened we suggest you enter by submitting as many blank pages as possible. Thousands of people will read this post and we hope they share it with all of their friends, and co-workers, feel free to forward our link to everyone you speak with, this madness must come to an end, mankind cannot tolerate this type of behavior from any race, or religion. We sugggest the blank white pages be submitted as a reminder that we give up in trying to deal with their idiocy
How ridiculous is this country of Iran going to become? They are comparing apples to oranges in this very tasteless, and despicable, act of irresponsibility. They have stated they will counter the Mohammad cartoons with that of a holocaust cartoon. This is one of the most twisted ideas I have ever heard. The topper is that the contest is supported by all levels of government in Iran, right to the very top of leadership.
I understand the uneasiness over the Mohammad cartoon, I don’t condone the violence but I understand how it can be upsetting. However, a cartoon of Mohammad does not symbolize the massacre of millions of people. There are holocaust survivors who lost all of their family members; this is no joke to them. Mohammad was one person; this is one of the greatest tragedies ever to inflict humankind. How can nay Muslim not speak out against this blatant racism and discrimination? This is horrendous. I hope millions of blank sheets gets entered in defiance of the contests concept.
I would hope to believe the Muslim community will find better mouthpieces for their arguments than the ones we currently see, he masked terrorists burning random buildings, and the Iranian idiots destroying faith in humanity. I sure hope someone emerges as an Islamic leader who can stop this madness. For the Jews who are offended by this horrendous act I will pray, just as I have for the Muslims who were offended.

Flemming Rose born 3/14/1956 into a Jewish family in the Ukraine has a major in Russian language and literature from University of Copenhagen. From 1990 to 1996 he was the Moscow correspondent for the newspaper Berlingske Tidende. Between 1996 and 1999 he was the correspondent for the same newspaper in Washington, D.C.. In 1999 he became Moscow correspondent for the newspaper Jyllands-Posten and January 2005 the cultural editor of that paper (KulturWeekend). He fled Denmark where he was under police protection to Miami, Florida in fear for his life where he is currently in hiding.

Tyujryu, while you are certainly welcome to your opinion, I feel many feel differently than yourself. Your feelings may be hared in many areas but I feel the majority of the world has compassion for the holocaust and its effects.
