Islam: Muslims Burn Down Embassies In Retaliation For Mohammad Cartoon

Why is there more outrage over a cartoon image in a mundane paper than there is for the broadcast of a beheading on Al Jazeera? Is human life worth less to God than the cartoon depiction of a prophet? Which offense do you think God really considers blasphemous? The taking of an innocent life, or the tasteless cartoon drawing of a prophet? God has seen plenty of tasteless jokes in his time; do you really think these unimpressive cartoons bother him? If so, then God must not be as omnipotent as he is made out to be. However, I think he is, and he has much more important things to attend to than this.

Why not ask Daniel Pearl how he feels about these cartoons, oh that’s right he can’t speak, he was innocently beheaded, isn’t this offensive? How about the 12 Nepalese that were killed about a year and a half ago, oh yeah they cannot speak either, they were also killed because they were simply not Muslim, I believe heir deaths where somewhat offensive to say the least. Jack Hensley, Eugene Armstrong, Nick Berg, Ken Bigley, Ivailo Kepov, Georgy Lazov, can we get their opinion? Oh yeah, they were all killed innocently as well, yet I do not remember Christians, or Jews, burning down Islamic buildings in retaliation, was’nt their innocent deaths offensive? Why were’nt Muslims protesting the innocent killings of these individuals in their lands, are’nt innocent deaths an offense in Islam? If life is Gods greatest gift how can they justify taking it away? I think thats offensive, lets discuss this then we can discuss the cartoons.

However, like a screaming five year old brat, groups of Muslims have bonded together and torched government buildings in retaliation for who knows what offense. Again, these extremists have punished the innocent for something they consider important to them. How can they justify destroying these buildings, the buildings had nothing to do with any part of the cartoon issue. Two wrongs don’t make a right and the more their behavior trends toward the irrational, the more world opinion is swaying against their cause.

Reasonable, and intelligent, discussion is how this problem must be solved. Offending, and intimidating, anyone based on their religious beliefs is incorrect behavior. However, physical threats, and brutal retaliation, is no way to dispute the offending actions.
