Bob Woodruff is a journalist, and reporter, I respect very much. He is not the type of reporter who wants to be the news as much as he wants to see and bring us the news. For as much talk as there is about how things are improving in Iraq, this just goes to show, it is still a harsh place to be in.
War time reporting is always a treacherous job, and in this modern day, where death and destruction are brought in hundreds of forms, it is even more dangerous. However, we must respect the efforts of those who put themselves in harms way to make sure that we back here in America get the true story.
From where I write, and report, I am like an arm chair quarterback. However, the articles I comment on in regards to Iraq are brought to me by a journalist risking his life to get a story out. When we read these stories I think we need to remember, these brave journalists, and reporters, are putting their lives on the line so that you have the true facts.
I know a lot of times we despise the news reporters, referring to them as paparazzi, or glamour hounds, but these types of reporters deserve our respect and consideration. I pray for the best for Bob and his family.

ABC News reporter Bob Woodruff has been injured in an IED land mine attack in Iraq. I am sure the whole country will have him in their thoughts and prayers regardless of what they feel about the media and the war.
