Democrats Say, ” Ours Is Better Than Yours “

It worked for the Republicans in 2000 and 2004; can it now be flipped for the Dem’s? Both political parties have a new plan to clean up government. However, election years are like bad restaurant experiences, we always hear how well the specials our but our waiter never brings us the dinner?

Congressional Democrats made an early election-year promise; they stated they want to clean up Capitol Hill. They want to eliminate the hustle being propagated on you, the American citizen, by the supposed bad guy lobbyists and their back door dealing partners, ‘The Republicans.’

Will this flip of an old script really work in 06? I don’t believe all of the Republicans are bad guys, is this just a political line that is meant to stir up emotion and make us want to accept change? I believe it is. However, in some cases change may be a good thing. But beware, there are still some hard working Republicans out there that may get caught up in this interesting propaganda campaign.

Don’t despair true blue Republicans, your party has a new plan as well, it also is meant to clean up congress, the recent lobbyist scandal has spurred Republicans to propose a reform package of their own.

Loudmouthed uneven promises are being fired from both sides of the battlefield; both parties are claiming they have the magic mojo elixir to cure what is ailing the common American. However, we have had enough slogans, we want meat on our plate, and just telling us what’s on the menu will no longer cut it.
