Domestic America Suffers While Foreign Aide Is Upped

I listened to some children discuss this issue and here are there remarks:

“While America traverses the world trying to rid the wrong done to other countries by extremists, they are leaving their selves susceptible to future vulnerabilities. We are running deficits in the government, we are running deficits in trade, and we are not stabilizing our position as a leading world manufacturer. What we are doing is losing political battles in many countries overseas, and around the world. Do not kid yourself, as we lose economic authority we also lose policy making authority. Many see America as a nation of greed and self concern; they see us as only worrying about ourselves, not our sense of nationality. Is this perception becoming truth or is it just anti-American sentiment? Either way, its not good news for us as American citizens.”

“By the time we make the world safe from terrorism, we will not be economically fit enough to enjoy it. While we pay troops to protect foreign interests, other countries are spending their money on training and infrastructure. As we send billions in Aide to foreign countries, we are closing our own schools and firing teachers.”

“So ask yourself, how much longer can America afford to fight all of the wars on terror and neglect our own children’s education?”

These are definitely children wise beyond their years.

When the world is safe, how can our children compete? We deserve more security, more education, and more social programs, right here in America. Why should one American teacher be laid off while we send aide to countries who arte hostile towards us. When the roles become reversed who do you think will help out America? China? India? Central America? Latin America? Guess again, and keep on guessing because their most likely will not be one country ready to step in and assist us.

Do something now so you will not be sorry lately. We have all wished we could have done something in retrospect at one time or another. Make this your chance at redeeming that mistake.
