Clinton - Kerry : Who’s On Top In 08 Presidential Campaign

Does a Clinton\Kerry or Kerry\Clinton 08 Presidential ticket scare you? How do conservatives feel about this possibility? Could the so called dream ticket become a reality? When Meet the Press listed its probable candidates, these two were on there.

On NBC’s Meet the Press a screen graphic displaying the most likely Democratic candidates was shown, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry displayed prominently on the list.

Many in Washington are taking note of how Senator John Kerry is still carrying himself while going about his Washington duties. Many are also taking note of the stepped up presence of Hillary Clinton.

Many Democrats fear that Kerry may try to run again in 08, these Democrats feel that Kerrys’ same weaknesses will be exposed; they want a fresh face in 2008. There are also supporters of Kerry who claim that if Kerry would have won Ohio he would have been president, although many concede this fact is true they feel it is irrelevant at this point. But again, supporters of Kerry say this demonstrates he had support and this is enough to spark up his campaign supporters.

Many feel Hillary has changed her ways as a Senator; she is now seen by many as a moderate-conservative on issues such as video game violence and the Iraq war.

Many conservatives have privately said that with the popularity Hillary has, coupled with the support Kerry has gained, these two could form a formidable ticket. However, the question soon arises, who will be on top? Will Hillary or John step down to the waiting in the wings position of V.P.

Many feel that Senator John Kerry never stopped running for president, they feel his concession speech was the beginning of his 08 campaign.
