Michigan Governor Granholm Fights Back Against Outsourcing

Governor Granholm crosses party lines and makes Michigan a model state for the war against outsourcing. What is your state doing to protect your job? Is your elected official acting on your best interests or that of big business? See what Granholm is doing for Michigan and then find out for yourself.

The state of Michigan has been beaten and battered by job loss in the manufacturing markets. The state has seen many jobs pack up and leave the country. However, rather than throw her hands up in the air and give up, Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is spending her days fighting back, she is trying to regain Michigan’s prosperity one job at a time.

Many states in America are experiencing huge job losses as a side effect to the baseless outsourcing of their domestic jobs. However, Governor Granholm has enacted tax legislation that is making Michigan once again a very attractive location for businesses around the world.

The Governor has also established a committee whose is committed to the task of making Michigan more competitive in the job market. Jennifer and many Michigan legislators created the 21st Century Jobs Fund which will allocate nearly $400 million dollars of the state’s tobacco settlement toward bringing commerce and manufacturing back to Michigan. The Governor is also seeking technology business as well. The newly appointed Strategic Economic Investment and Commercialization Board is assisting the Governor in any way possible to help revive the states economy.

There is a very large bi-partisan effort in the state of Michigan that is helping bring jobs back into Michigan, and America, because of the efforts of Michigan legislators. These legislators have come to understand that as the number one consuming country in the world there is no reason we should not be the number one job creator in the world.

These legislators are making it advantageous for businesses to keep heir workforce here in the United States, thus ensuring our security and our children’s future. You should utilize our Government Contacts list to locate your local elected officials and let them know they should do the same for you.

Do you feel your politicians are doing all they can for your best interests or are they neglecting you for the interests of Big Business? What do you want done in your state?

  1. This is good news to hear, lets hope more elected officials do more to help generate business in there areas. For too long we have been tryingto develop and save the rest of the world, its about time we take care of our own. When the world flips no one will be there for us, count on that. We need our elected officials concentrating on Domestic business, not foreign investment. I buy only made in A,merica products, hopefully others do to.

  2. Lets hope more legilators act on behalf of the Americans who pay their taxes to support our government. I hope more politicians act on behalf of domestic Americans and work towards bringing more jobs to America.
