Explosions Rock Fuel Depot North Of London
Every time there is an explosion at a major industrial complex, or highly public area, people are quick to assume terrorism. Is this the way we will live in society now that we are in the 21st century?
Immediate responses to the notice of the explosion were from the terrorist angle, what does this say about our current way of living and how safe we really feel against the war on terror?
British Police say there is no reason to believe terrorism is responsible for the huge explosion at one of their largest oil depots. Police believe it was an accident that caused a series of explosions at the oil depot which had residents close to the area in fear along with numerous shattered windows in the area caused by the explosion.
At the depot location there is currently a large fire enraging, along with shooting flames, and an enormous cloud of smoke. Firefighters at the blaze have advised that the fire could continue to burn for days. The area close to the depot was evacuated, and nearby residents were advised to keep their windows closed because of fumes.
