I believe the number of Republicans supporting the call for a timetable reinforces the belief that the inertia behind the effort to keep a large force in Iraq is losing its steam. With the eroding domestic economy supplied by a gigantic trade surplus many have wondered how much longer Bush can keep up any type of support for the elongation of service men and woman in abroad. We have heard of improvements all over the world but never is there mention in America of how things are improving. Look around, who is not facing job cuts, salary reductions, or a threat of being outsourced. Many are now calling for their elected representatives to address these issues rather than the struggle in Iraq, I believe rightfully so. I may not know all of the facts, but with what knowledge I do have of the situation in Iraq, I believe it is time to bring our hero's home. I, for one, am personally tired of seeing the flag at half staff during my ride to and from work each day. Bring our soldiers home so that the flag does not creep down the pole for one more sacrificed American life.
