Immigration Policy

I support Lou Dobbs and his stand on immigration reform. Many call this man borderline racist but I feel he is no more racist than anyone else. Lou simply refers to the law that is written and wants the law enforced as described. However, many individuals with subversive views try to undermine his integrity and his direction. I, for one, support his view. I am in no way racist, I encourage immigration. However, I feel all immigrants must be legalized citizens, if it is not required of them to be legal citizens and pay taxes then why must I follow suit?

The level of crime committed by illegal aliens is rising in many major cities yet because each political party is trying to gain votes with minorities, and civil active groups, they are not addressing this issue. Many elected officials are afraid to be labeled racist by the opposite political party and they acquiesce to the needs of their party rather than their swarn dedication to uphold and support the local laws and policies. Many elected officials send directives to local law enforcement professionals to ignore and bypass many laws involving illegal immigrants.

I believe we must all be active in supporting efforts such as Lou Dobbs in bringing awareness to this issue and help resolve the problems created by this. This will allow legal individuals who entered the country as immigrants to gain the respect and lifestyle they deserve, this also helps address the issue of unemployed illegal aliens who are committing crimes and avoiding prosecution.

I ask you to contact your local authorities and review your local areas immigration policies and make sure your elected official is supporting the laws you and your ancestors helped vote for and establish. If this law is not addressed then which law becomes the next one to just be ignored?

Don’t wait, take action.

  1. Dobbs is THE MAN!!!

Seriously, he’s about the only one covering the real important stories: (trade, immigration, China, Middle Class challenges). The rise of China alone should dictate at least a story a week!

Anyways, thought I’d drop a note to let know guys know that I was one of the people at lunch at Chili’s today. Apparently, one of the writers or editors approached our table and gave us the URL. Pretty good stuff, though you guys need to add an “About Me” page with contacts, etc…

  2. Thank you for your patronage and response Nathan. We have established our site to give individuals such as yourself a place to express their thoughts and ideas in regards to how our country, and in a larger view, our world is re-shaping itself. We agree with you that Lou Dobbs does a very good job of discussing relevant topics with very little political spin. I wish more individuals such as yourself would become aware of the issues Lou tackles and discuss with their friends, and others, ways to address these issues. I appreciate your response and look forward to hearing more of your thoughts and ideas.
